D-Link revamps its Partner programme, presenting margin rich opportunities for its Channel

D-Link continues to support the channel by expanding and updating its partnership programme.

01 February, 2018

London, Thursday 1st February 2018 D-Link, a global leader in networking and connectivity, today announced the revamp of its established partnership programme along with an introduction of a brand new tier. The upgrade includes a number of added benefits that continue to reinforce D-Link’s commitment to support the channel as a key route to market in an ever shifting industry. The new tier is being introduced to the partnership programme with the primary purpose of encouraging and helping resellers to grow and improve their business in a profitable manner, via mutually agreed bespoke development plans. The upgrade offers flexibility to resellers of all sizes looking to grow during 2018, who may be in particular need of additional resources to develop their business further with the help of D-Link’s solutions.

D-Link is providing this ultra-personalised service by launching a range of attractive new incentives for partners such as simplified upfront discounts, exclusive promotions on a quarterly basis, marketing development funds for those wishing to fulfil a marketing strategy, and offering generous rebates. Combined, these give resellers the opportunity and boost they need to grow much more efficiently than doing it alone, increasing partners’ overall revenue and resulting in a positive, and more notably, profitable business for both parties.

This relentless channel commitment further establishes itself in the undertones of D-Link’s overall strategy going forward, reflected in the increased overall head count across sales and marketing and pre-sales technical teams, based in the UK. Today, D-Link boasts more channel support than many of its mid-tier competitors.

Commenting on its channel focus, Paul Routledge, Country Manager D-Link UK & Ireland, says: “Building upon the success through 2017, we have re-vamped our VIP+ Program; adding further investment for our channel partners, helping them to develop their skills, knowledge, and ultimately their business. The launch of the improved programme demonstrates our commitment to the channel at a time when other vendors appear to be exploring other routes to market. We believe the human touch is invaluable for driving incremental business and the team are geared up to work with the partners and go the extra mile.” He added: “This is the first of many planned steps to encourage the channel to ‘Rethink D-Link’ and really recognise the value of investing in a mutually rewarding relationship with us.”

Commenting on Pyranet UK's recent progression to Silver in D-Link's partnership programme, Technical Director Joe Burns says “D-Link’s products allow us to sell complete resilient network solutions for our customer base that we know and trust. In addition to this, the Account Management and support we receive from the D-Link team is responsive, friendly and helpful. We are now a Silver Partner, and have always felt looked after and valued as we have progressed through the Partner Programme. The team at Pyranet look forward to our continued relationship with D-Link in the future.”
