DCS-960L HNAP SOAPAction Stack-based Buffer Overflow Remote Code Execution Vulnerability

Overview

On October 1, 2019, Trend Micro's Zero Day Initiative research team submitted a Stack-based Buffer Overflow Remote Code Execution Security Vulnerability report that affects the DCS-960L (Hardware Version Ax). This vulnerability allowed a malicious user to affect the device from the LAN-Side (accessing from within the home) that would cause the device to malfunction.
