Challenge
The Yelloh ! Village les Mouettes 5 star campsite at Carantec wanted a scalable, easy-to-manage, high-performance wireless network solution. Essentially, the solution needed to interlink the terminals for cashless payments via NFC wristbands across all the campsite's points of sale (reception, restaurant, bakery, grocery store, bars etc.), with the possibility of relocating the access points according to the client's needs. The solution now offers wireless coverage of all the buildings within the campsite.
Solution
The integrator Weelogic, a D-Link partner, chose Nuclias cloud-based wireless network management for the implementation of this project. They chose Nuclias Cloud because it's very easy to use, and even easier to configure. The whole solution, based on 10 access points, was commissioned using the zero-touch provisioning system which allowed rapid automatic configuration. The client's hardware was then installed for immediate commissioning.
Results
Choosing D-Link products enables the Weelogic team to not only monitor the hardware and develop the solution (new access points, security modifications, new SSID etc.), but also provide proactive maintenance within the campsite. In addition, the web UI's control panel integrated in the Nuclias Cloud solution allow Weelogic to determine how the network is used and optimise placement of the access points if necessary.
