AC1200 Dual Band Whole Home Mesh Wi-Fi System (COVR-1102)
D-Link, a world leader in smart home and networking technology, has announced the latest addition to its Covr Whole Home Mesh Wi-Fi range with the AC1200 Dual-Band Whole Home Mesh Wi-Fi System (COVR-1102). D-Link’s first Wi-Fi CERTIFIED EasyMesh™ system offers seamless Wi-Fi connectivity throughout the home while providing the flexibility to expand coverage by simply adding another EasyMesh™-certified device. It also supports the latest WPA3 Wi-Fi security, which offers improved password protection and easier set up for smart home IoT devices to connect to your home Wi-Fi securely.
Specifically designed to meet the growing demands of the connected home, the COVR-1102 features two Covr Points that provide seamless Wi-Fi coverage up to 325 sqm for a large number of devices. Dual-band Wireless AC connectivity with combined wireless speeds of up to 1,200 Mbps per Covr Point, users can make uninterrupted video calls, stream HD videos from multiple devices at once, or enjoy seamless gaming, wherever they are in the home.
Featuring Multiple-User MIMO (MU-MIMO) technology, the COVR-1102 can send and receive data to and from devices simultaneously to increase speed and efficiency. Its intelligent Smart Roaming feature continuously scans for the most reliable Wi-Fi signal available for any device, connecting them without interruption or drop-off.
The COVR-1102 also supports voice control via Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant, giving users hand-free control over their home Wi-Fi. Easy to set-up and install, the device can be configured in no time using the free D-Link Wi-Fi app, available for Android or iOS compatible device.
The AC1200 Dual-Band Whole Home Mesh Wi-Fi System will also be available as a 3-pack (COVR-1103), which supports coverage up to 464 sqm, in Q2, 2019.
