This FAQ is for the DWL-1700AP and DWL-1750.

Step 1 Open a web browser and type the IP addressof the device in the address bar (default is 192.168.1.50 wirelessand 192.168.0.50:2000 wired). Press Enter.

Step 2 The default username isadmin (all lower case).The default password forthe DWL-1700AP is root (all lower case). Thedefault password for the DWL-1750 is blank (nothing). ClickOK.

Step 2 Click the Home tab andthen click Wireless to the left.

Step 3 Next to SSID enter the newSSID.

The SSID (Service Set Identifier) is the workgroup name of yourWireless Network. All devices (access points, wireless routers, andwireless adapters) must have the same SSID to communicate on theWireless Network. The SSID can be up to 32 numbers, letters,spaces, and dashes. Also, the SSID is case-sensitive.

Step 4 Click Apply and then clickContinue to save the new settings.
