DXS-3610 Layer 3 Stackable 10G Managed Switch Family

D-Link, a global leader in networking and connectivity technology, has announced new additions to its portfolio of multi-Gigabit managed switches with the DXS-3610 Series Layer 3 Stackable 10G Managed Switches, a high-performance, ultra-low latency and scalable solution engineered for enterprises, campus and service providers networks.

The powerful and advanced DXS-3610 Series Layer 3 Stackable 10G Managed Switches are designed with 10G Ethernet switching capacity of up to 2.16 Tbps, forwarding rates of up to 1607 Mpps, and 100G uplink ports, an ideal solution for future-proofing European business networks.

The DXS-3610 Series switches provide extensive flexibility in a range of environments – with high port density available in two configurations, either 48 x 10G Base-T or 10G SFP+ ports with 6 x 100G QSFP28. For larger enterprises, these switches can physically stack up to 12 unit to function as a single switch with up to 1.2 Tbps stacking bandwidth. Additionally, hot-swappable power supplies with load sharing and redundant fan trays to reduce both downtime and power consumption, and maximise network availability for added reliability.

Available with standard or enhanced software images, the DXS-3610 Series features a range of Layer 2, VLAN, multicasting, Quality of Service (QoS), security, data centre, and static routing protocols. The Enhanced Image supports L3 features such as L3 routing, L3 Multicast, and MPLS, making the switches suitable for deployment in the aggregation layer for a service provider or campus network. The DXS-3610 Series switches also come with a built-in Switch Resource Management feature which allows the hardware table size to be dynamically adjusted and optimised based usage. These switches are also OpenFlow v1.3 compliant and compatible with SDN-enabled core/aggregation networks.
