D-Link, a global leader in home security and smart surveillance technology, has been recognised at this year’s world-renowned iF Design Awards for two of its home security cameras - the 2K QHD Pan & Zoom Outdoor Wi-Fi Camera (DCS-8635LH) and the Full HD Outdoor Wi-Fi Camera (DCS-8302LH). 

Both cameras were named winners in the TV and cameras category at this year’s awards, specifically designed to celebrate world-leading, exceptional design. 

Featuring sophisticated features like AI edge-based person detection, D-Link’s Full HD Outdoor Wi-Fi Camera can accurately identify human motion in real-time to minimise false alarms. The DCS-8302LH offers unlimited surveillance in vivid Full HD 1080p clarity and infrared night vision providing visibility for up to five metres, even in complete darkness. 

With its built-in microphone and speaker for two-way audio and siren functionality, the camera can deter intruders and alert when motion is detected. Its built-in Wi-Fi support and weather-resistant design mean it can be deployed or installed anywhere in a home, garden or small business setting.

Available later this year, the 2K QHD Pan & Zoom Outdoor Wi-Fi Camera provides precise, detailed surveillance to monitor and protect a home or small office. The IP65-rated weatherproof casing offers incredible 2K QHD resolution and 360-degree coverage thanks to its sophisticated, motorised pan feature. With advanced features such as person detection, facial recognition, auto motion tracking, glass break detection, and speaker siren, users can detect and deter intruders to protect their home.

The iF Design Awards are hosted by the world’s oldest independent design organisation, iF International Forum Design GmbH based in Hannover. This year, a 98-member jury reviewed almost 10,000 entries submitted from 52 countries.
