DIR-X5460: Multiple Vulnerability reported by IoT Inspector

07 dicembre, 2021

Overview

On August 2021, a 3rd party security researcher, from IoT inspector, tested a D-Link Router DIR-X5460 (firmware ver. 1.10b10) and identified potential vulnerabilities.

As soon as D-Link was made aware of the reported security issues, we had promptly started our investigation and have already provided a security patch (firmware ver. 111b01), which is available to download.

D-Link takes the issues of network security and user privacy very seriously. We have a dedicated task force and product management team on call to address evolving security issues and implement appropriate security measures.
