Site Survey

Step 1. Double-click the bar graph icon in thesystem tray (the area in the lower right-hand corner of the screen,by the clock).

 

 

Windows XP SP1 (or no service pack)

Step 1. Right-click the two computer monitorsicon in the system tray (the area in the lower right-hand corner ofthe screen, by the clock) and select View AvailableWireless Networks.

Step 2. Click Advanced.
Step 3. Uncheck Use Windows to configuremy wireless network settings and clickOK.
Follow steps 1-3 in the Site Survey section.

 

Windows XP SP2

Step 1. Right-click the wireless icon in thesystem tray (the area in the lower right-hand corner of the screen,by the clock) and select View Available WirelessNetworks.

Step 2. In the Wireless NetworkConnection window click Change advancedsettings on the right side below RelatedTasks.
Step 3. Uncheck Use Windows to configuremy wireless network settings.
Follow steps 1-3 in the Site Survey section.

 

 

If your wireless network is not showing in SiteSurvey
