The Challenge
The Hungarian Academy of Science had to solve the issues of co-working with and across a number of different institutions, in different sites, with different needs.
Solution
The Academy had non-homogenous, outdated networks and unsuitable corporate WiFi in most of its institutes. After looking at the various alternatives they awarded D-Link as the best solution to install switching and wireless products as a replacement at one of its institute first.
Result
On completion of the first new installation for the switching and wireless products, the Hungarian Academy of Science was delighted with the results, but they let each institute to decide on the change by themselves. As the network operators were sharing information, they started to offer D-Link to each other. Finally, all institutes had chosen D-Link as their best supporting supplier, so D-Link products were spread around all 8 locations. After many years of successful cooperation D-Link achieved “Strategic Partner” level at the Academy.
