The platform, which is compatible with a wide range of D-Link’s award-winning portfolio of mydlink™ cameras, provides users with a secure way to save footage captured at home or in the office every time motion and/or sound is detected. Owners can quickly and easily share videos with friends and family, and can enjoy 24‑hours of video retention for free, with an option to upgrade to one of D-Link’s cost-effective, paid plans for 30-day video retention to support up to 10 connected cameras.

Via D-Link’s mydlink™ app, which is free to download from major app stores, users can record directly to the cloud, view their saved videos, or watch what is being recorded in real time from wherever they are in the world. The mydlink™ Cloud Recording service offers users complete control of what is recorded and when it is captured, and can work in collaboration with Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant or If This Then That (IFTTT) integrations.

Set-up is simple, and users can add their home and office devices to the mydlink™ Cloud Recording service in the app as well as manage automations, turn devices on or off, or enable privacy modes on multiple devices using the handy ‘one tap’ shortcuts. For those using multiple cameras, the mydlink™ app allows users to view what is happening in all corners of the home or office from just one screen.
